What
is broadband?
Broadband is a term that refers to "High Bandwidth" lines that either
connect businesses together or give them high speed access to the internet.
Impact has partnered with today's top companies across the continental United
States such as: West Coast Internet, SBC, Verizon, Bell South and Many More!

Impact
is proud to offer your company the following Broadband solutions:
-DSL
(Speeds Available: 128K, 256K, 384K, 512K, 768K, 1.5M-6M)
-ISDN/BRI
(Normally used as a backup connection for a failed line)
-Frame Relay
(Partial Mesh, Full Mesh, Hub & Spoke Configurations)
-ATM
Send data to multiple destinations at speeds from 1.5
to 155 Mbps over a dedicated line without a network investment.
ATM
(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) service enables you to send voice, video and
data over one access line to multiple destinations - fast. You won't have
to purchase a network. We keep you up and running by monitoring and maintaining
your service. ATM supports these applications: LAN interconnectivity,
Voice transmission, High-speed data transfer,
High-resolution imaging, High-definition video transport,
Multimedia communications, Host-to-host Internetworking,
Interactive/concurrent engineering & CAD/CAM.
-Digital Data Services (DDS)
Transfer data digitally between locations reliably with one of 5 speed service
choices ranging from 2.4 to 56 Kbps.
Affordable digital networking. Connect
locations more efficiently. If your hardware and software capabilities are
growing and you need greater speed and reliability than analog lines offer,
DDS may be your solution. DDS is a low-to-medium speed digital transmission
service that provides a dedicated link between two or more locations within
a local area (LATA). Features & Benefits:
Productivity. DDS enables remote data entry, credit card and check authorization,
customer cash payments, online data collection and automated teller machines.
System reliability. Minimal downtime because of our superior circuitry and
centralized diagnostics test centers. Virtually error-free transmissions.
Digital lines produce less noise and signal distortion, and reduce down time
between transmissions. Flexibility. Choose point-to-point, multipoint or point-to-serving
configurations. Speed. Choose from five speed choices: 2.4, 4.8, 9.6, 19.2
or 56 Kbps transmission speed. For higher speeds, check out High Capacity
Data Services for DS1 and DS3.
-Fractional T1 / T1-T3
Transmits heavy Internet volume point-to-point data digitally at speeds of
1.5 (DS1) or 45 Mbps (DS3).
T1/T3 Features: Digital Data Services - DS1 Private
voice and data lines between locations. Digital transmission via fiber optic
lines. Transmission speeds up to 1.5 Mbps. Reliable, secure transmission.
Efficient file transfer. Disaster recovery - your files are backed up.
T1/T3 DS3 Features: Digital Data Services - DS3 The same features as DS1,
plus: equivalent of 28 T-1 channels or 672 regular voice-grade channels. Transmission
speeds up to 45 Mbps. Facility connectivity from a serving wire center to
the end user for IP services like ATM and Frame Relay.
